Welcome to Lagkagehuset. The company started in 1991 with a shop in Copenhagen on Christianshavn Torv. It was Ole Kristoffersen who opened the first store in Christianshavn. At the same time Steen Skallebæk started his own bakery in Haderslev in Jutland.
Through time several branches opened in Copenhagen, and in 2008 Skallebæk opened a second bakery in Aabenraa in Jutland. In 2008 Skallebæk and Lagkagehuset merged into a large bakery company called Lagkagehuset. We look forward to seeing you at Lagkagehuset.
